The Bruce Shrine Club had a large contingent attending the 2022 Mocha Ceremonial in Sault Ste. Marie.
It was the first ceremonial in a few years, nobles and their ladies made the most of some fine fall weather and a chance to get together with fellow Shriners and visit this wonderful city.

Our journey involved a crossing on the MS ChiChimon (the Big Canoe) that was enjoyed by all once we found our sea-legs. A great opportunity to be out of our vehicles, eat, drink, socialize and take some photos with a great Georgian Bay background. Because of the influential people in our group, we even had a visit from the Capitan of the ship.

One of the highlights of all Ceremonials is the parade and we had the honor of having Illustrious Sir Grant Fotheringham convey 3 current potentates. Well, the music trailer transported the Mocha Divan

The Sault Ste. Marie Shrine Club arranged to have representatives from Montreal Shriners Hospital and one of our Shriners Children, Milia attend the Ceremonial. This was a very special for all who attended. During the Saturday night Potentates Banquet Mila’s mother told the story of their experience at our Montreal Hospital. During her talk little Mila scooted around in her special wheelchair. To be at that event was one of the most uplifting experiences a Shriner and our Ladies can have.
Enjoy some photos from our fun weekend in Sault Ste. Marie
